{Hello, Gorgeous!} Maple Grove Photographer

I had the honor of photographing another beautiful friend of mine yesterday, she is a talented performer, dancer and director and needed some updated headshots taken. I love all areas of photography and this was definitely new for me. The bonus was getting to catch up with a wonderful friend while I got some fantastic shots of her (I have been going through them as I have been able to today and there is frame after frame of beautiful images! Even the outtakes were usable--probably not for her career portfolio but it made the artistic side of my heart happy :)). I can say there have been very few sessions where I have done a little happy dance in front of my client because I was getting so excited at what we were capturing but this was one of those sessions! Here are a FEW of my favorites from yesterday, she is such a beautiful person inside and out, it was a pleasure capturing that for her (plus she has a KILLER smile!).

I am doing so many fun sessions lately I want to blog them all! Last night I did a session for another friend of mine on their family farm. I shared my evening with a calf, a rooster, a couple beautiful horses, a dog and a gorgeous family of 6! I loved so many from last nights session and they had great ideas on what they wanted for their photos! Here are a few of my favorites!

I got the honor of photographing another dear friend of mine and her family last weekend. I have known her since junior high school and we went through high school together. It was so great seeing her and meeting her little ones for the first time! Their little guy loved the big cherry, running around and the bridge and both kids' smiles melted my heart! Her family was great to work with, and in spite of the rain I think we got some fantastic shots--even an adorable one of the two kiddos together thanks to some quick thinking by their dad and yogurt covered raisins!!

Often times I get the privilege of photographing some of my dearest friends. This past weekend, I got to photograph a friend of mine that has been near and dear to my heart since we were five years old! Life may have led us in different paths at time, sometimes losing touch with each other, but whenever we are together we can pick up where we left off, and that is the definition of a friend! Of course she now has a beautiful family of her own and I had so much fun seeing them and capturing some special moments for them! I love her and her family to pieces and I think I got some great shots (mostly because I could not for the life of me figure out which ones to get rid of--which is a great problem to have and the reason for the monster blog post!).
