{A Good Cause} Event Photography

Last weekend, my husband was helping run a pool tournament in order to raise money for a family in our area. It was a great cause and they raised a lot of money from the tourney and silent auction! I donated a photo session and 11x14 canvas to the auction and I look forward to photographing the family that purchased it! It was a great night and I got many great photos...but this one is my favorite!

This is my first ever submission to an I Heart Faces photo challenge! I love how the moment between this couple seems completely private. Her expression is so vulnerable and I love how he seems to gentle with her. I was honored that this couple allowed me to capture them and this moment!

{CUTE FAMILIES 2012}

Playing more catch up today...Looking back on some of my favorite sessions from 2012! I loved this family session from November! They are a huge hockey family so we got many photos at a hockey arena and then headed over to a park for the remainder of the session. Such an adorable family! Thank you S family!

A look back at one of my favorite family sessions from last year...I love this family, they were troopers through the wind and rain and look at these kids--completely ADORABLE!
